• Gameplay: puzzle results, streaks, scores, achievements, friend connections.
• Technical: IP address and basic device info for abuse prevention.
• Optional: marketing preferences you set at sign-up or in Profile.

How we use it

• Provide the game, save progress, and rank you on the leaderboard.
• Authenticate your account and secure the service.
• Send account emails (password reset, verification) — always.
• Send product/marketing emails — only if you opted in. Unsubscribe anytime.

Subprocessors

• Hosting, database, auth: Lovable Cloud.
• AI trivia generation: Lovable AI (Google Gemini).
• Sign-in: Google OAuth (optional).
• Advertising (once launched): Google AdSense — see cookie policy.

Retention & your rights

We keep your data until you delete your account. You can request access, correction, export, or deletion at any time via Profile → Delete account, or by emailing us. Users in the EEA/UK have rights under GDPR; California residents under CCPA.
